We are Brian, Heather, and kids: 2 girls 10ys and 7yrs, and 2 boys 5yrs, and 3 1/2yrs. Brian is a pastor and Heather is blessed to stay home with our 4 biological and two adopted children. It took us two years to adopt from Ethiopia, and we are happy to say that they are finally home with us, as of May 2nd, 2009! This blog site was to keep you, family and friends, up to date on the progress of our adoption. We will try to update it now and then, but know that I am not a good blogger.
Please see “Home” page.

Hi, I just read your “spy” info on the YG and the tiny baby you saw on April 30 sounds like it is probably ours! We got our referral last Wed (13th) and, well, I just think it was him! All six of your children are beautiful! Thanks for the post!

Hi Brian and Heather! It’s been a LONG time since the last time we talked and since then we’ve both adopted 2 kiddos! Bob V. is friends with Jason on FB and they told us you just brought home some kiddos so we decided to look you up!
We adopted a girl and boy from Haiti. They came home a year ago February. Seeing your ‘coming home’ pics at the airport brought back fantastic memories! Congratulations! I’ll always associate the Denver airport with the day we FINALLY brought Monika and John home.
We’re still in Colorado too. And, some friends of ours are heading to Ethiopia to bring home their twin babies later this month. Their return flight is set for July 4. Do you know the Akins?
Anyway, so cool to see how God has grown your family. You’re in for a great ride! And, sometimes a hard ride. If you ever need to talk, or if you have questions about doing hair (I do Monika’s hair and love it), or just want to get the kids together- let us know!
Blessings! Laura
